What a lovely weekend we had for Easter. Four days at Mantra Tree Tops Resort, Port Douglas. A proper bed, no walk to shower or go to the loo and a tv!!!!!! We were like two kids in a lolly shop!!! As much as we love "the fish bowl" it's nice to have abit of luxury though to most people it's normal.
We went to the markets, had a walk along the beach, checked out the shops, visited the rainforest habitat wildlife sanctuary, and pretty much did nothing but relax. So a very good weekend.

On the Anzac Day long Weekend in April, Greg and I went hot air ballooning over Mareeba and the Atherton Tablelands. It was an early morning start, but worth getting up for. It was slighty foggy, and a bit fresh, but the sunrise and scenery was spectacular.
Finally after about six weks we got to go out on to the reef. It was just me Angelica, Ben & Fern!!!! Greg had to work. It was still a little rough, but managable. I tried diving, which was "interesting" but loads of FUN. Sounds stupid but remembering to breath isen't easy!!! and then theres, poping your ears, keeping water out of your goggels, and not smacking your head on the edge of the boat cause of the waves!!! Once that was sorted, i was fine!!!
