Frangapani!!

Where the Rainforest mets the Reef

I like this picture of the Daintree River and surrounding Rainforest as it meanders down to the ocean.

A Drive in the Country Side.

A couple of week ends ago, we went for a drive up in to the Atherton Tableland area.
We visited Milla Milla Falls & Ellinjaa Falls.
Stayed over night in a country pub that was clean but a little interesting!! Mitch match bedspreads, curtains, tiles, ect, and TV (we still don't have one in the trailer). The only thing worth watching was NEMO!!!
We also went to Herberton, were Greg's grandmother grew up as a child. (that is another blog page story).
It was a great weekend, it rained a bit so the fog was rolling in, the dairy cows waiting to be milked, and lush green paddocks.

FROGGY!!!!

This gorgeous frog possed on the shower block wall for well over an hour last night. I was excited as it was the first, yes first frog i've seen up here, except for the cane toads and the frog we seen on the Daintree River Cruise. He's very pretty.

The Perfect Sunset

The Perfect End to a perfect day on Magnetic Island, which we visited on our way from Mackay to Cairns. oct-ish 07

Cairns Holiday Park

Here are some photos of Angelica and me at the office. Also some at the Australia Day BBQ. (Greg & Nicky sitting around & Jon & Marlene cooking).

The photo of me and Anna looking very smart is when we first came back from the hairdresser!!! (A little thank you present from Marlene). I must admit when the lady washed the colour out and i looked in the mirror, i said oohh sh*t!!! When wet it looked almost black!!! But really is a lovely rich red mahogany colour, which i like.
Hi Everyone, Work is sooooo quite at the momment, so i have heaps of time to play around with this, and so many of you ask for photos. And me and emailing isen't always the best, i try to shrink them but that dosen't always work!!!! So i'm haveing fun playing around with this.

SkyRail and Scenic Railway

At the caravan park, we have a tour desk for the many number of activities you can do in Cairns. So as part of my job i have to sell them, and you cant promote them very well if you havent tried them. So every week end or so we go on a tour.

We loved the train ride from Cairns to Kuranda. And the skyrail was good, evan though at one point we couldnt see much because of the fog!!

The Butterfly House was just magical.
As most of you know i love butterfly's,
so we spent a good hour or so wandering around.

It sure bet the rain outside.
As you can see when it rains, it rains quite heavily, and the fog rolls in on the hills.
But we are still waiting for the BIG wet as we haven't had really much rain at all, compared to normall.

The trailer has a little mould, abit more mildew, and if the sun isen't out for a few days, everything has a slight dampness to it!!!
Argh the joys of living in a Fish Bowl. (thats what we call the trailer as our car is called guppy).
But we wouldnt change a thing, its part of the story called travelling Australia.

Christmas Day 2007

I know most of you have seen these photos, but i love the one of me and Greg with the tinsel and santa hat, i still laugh myself to tears when i see it!!
I'm learning at blogging so not quite sure how to rotate pictures yet!! Angelica the lady i work with
say's it's easy, and i'll have no problems,
we'll see though.
These are some of my pictures from out on the reef on Christmas Day. We had an absolute blast.
